SIMONMCGRATH

Hero of his own story

A story often begins with an emotion, with an encounter, with an urgency not to miss something, with the strong feeling of accomplishing a mission, of realizing oneself, of experiencing something that is bigger than us. -themselves.

When we realize that life is lent to us and that it is impossible for us to control the elements and events that occur. We understand. We no longer seek meaning, we live. We ask ourselves fewer questions, we appreciate, we recognize, we contemplate a little. We use experiences, whatever they may be, to accomplish this mission, to respond to this little voice that speaks to us.

That little voice that manifests itself through the shiver created by the hug of a child. Who screams when the pain is too great. That little voice that gets louder and louder if we don't pay enough attention to it. Being an artist is, above all, demonstrating humility. Use your past to make it a dream for tomorrow. Share your story with the words we have and seek to learn others to explain it better.

Some people grow old without ever growing up and others grow up without ever growing old. When a story is read with emotion and kindness, it is possible to imagine the landscapes, the characters, to transpose themselves into them in the most beautiful way.

History is useful for learning lessons, history is written whether we like it or not.

The story is transmitted, transformed, takes on different shades depending on the time that passes after each page is turned.

A story never really ends, as long as you keep telling it.

“The answers are buried as much in the texts which allow us to open our minds and hearts to other experiences, as in our own suffering.

If writing is the mirror of the soul, one of the wishes that I have is that you could see yourself in mine. »
